Hyman Hits 40-Goal Mark, Oilers Win 3-2 In OT

EDMONTON AB - Zach Hyman reached the 40-goal mark with a two-goal effort while Connor McDavid added another as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in overtime on Monday night.

The Oilers are now on a two-game winning streak after taking down the Blues, who have now lost three of their last four games.

Hyman opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game, giving the Oilers an early 1-0 lead. McDavid made it 2-0 just over two minutes later with his 43rd goal of the season.

The Blues got on the board late in the second period when Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 34th goal of the season. Jordan Kyrou tied the game with his 23rd goal of the season just over two minutes into the third period.

The game went to overtime, and Hyman won it for the Oilers just over two minutes into the extra period.
